The Daily Scroll – All in Good Time

Sometimes we err in well doing because we jump the gun. If we follow the Spirit of the Lord in our daily walk, we see so many opportunities that we want to persue as many as possible. But the timing might not be right. Just because the thing seem right to do, it could be wrong for us at that time, and by jumping ahead we may mess up and fail. Better to move under the direction the the Spirit and know it will work out, rather than move under the direction of our own spirit and desire, just because it seems right. The Lord would say, “Be patient my child. All in good time. All in good time.”Paul and Silas experienced having their zeal put in check by the Holy Spirit as recorded in the Bible;“Next, Paul and Silas traveled through the area of Phrygia and Galatia, because the Holy Spirit had prevented them from preaching the word in the province of Asia at that time.” (Acts 16:6)All in good time. All in good time.
