“They begged him to let the sick touch at least the fringe of his robe, and all who touched him were healed. “ (Mark 6:56)

We may still touch Him today; with our failures, out sickness, our pain, and distress. All who touch Him are healed. Only believe, then receive.

But Jesus overheard* them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”  Then Jesus raised the girl from the dead. Whatever impossibility stands in your way, as Jesus said, don’t be afraid! Just have faith! Hallelujah!

Fellowship First – Service Second

Many people think that the Christian life is all about service. Especially the most dedicated believers. But the reality is that as important as service to others may be, equally and maybe even more important is the key to life, here and eternal. That is…fellowship with God. Working for God is not the better way, but spending time with Him in prayer, studying His word, and just talking to Him is the better way. It’s His way. As you spend time with Him, the service comes out of the relationship, and the relationship is His desire. Remember the story of Mary and Martha from the Bible (Luke 10:38-42)

Jesus told His Disciples…“To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.” (Matthew 4:25) 

Please don’t take Him for granted – gene

“Jesus replied, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” Then he looked at those around him and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3:33-35)

“That evening after sunset, many sick and demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. The whole town gathered at the door to watch. So Jesus healed many people who were sick with various diseases, and he cast out many demons.” (Mark 1:32-34)

He did it then…He does it now. – gene

Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

“Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” (Matthew 26:41)

Believe it!

So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into. You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected. (Matthew 24:42-44)

You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.” (Matthew 21:22)
