Wherever you are in the world today, remember that God, the Lord of Heaven’s armies has His eye on you. Look at what He has done in the past to deliver His people. Whether you are in war torn Europe, or a disease ridden city, His eye is upon you. You may live in safety but are tormented mentally with the cares of this life. Remember He sees and will help, even if you brought it upon yourself. He’s good that way.- gene

“I have heard all about you, LORD. I am filled with awe by your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as you did in years gone by. And in your anger, remember your mercy. (Habakkuk 3:2)

As I sit and gaze at the outdoors, I am reminded how it is God who gives the rain to water the plants, the fields and the trees. No man can do this like God. He gives the wind which moves the trees and it seems like the trees are breathing in the wind, deep breaths of fresh air. That same fresh air that we have the privilege to breathe. And yet as we observe nature, does it call us to reflect on the creator who gave us that nature? I hope so. Because the Lord of heavens armies deserves credit and praise for the good he has done, And is doing for us every day. The good that we take for granted because it’s always been there…as he’s always been there. Take a moment today to thank him and reflect on his greatness.

Draw close to God and He will draw close to you. He sees what you are going through and is an ever present help in times of trouble and need. I had rather go through problems and lose, with the Lord, than go through problems and win without Him. There is nobody like Him, and no love like His. Turn to Him today no matter what you may be going through. Ask Him for help and enjoy His peace and presence. gene

“The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. But he will sweep away his enemies in an overwhelming flood. He will pursue his foes into the darkness of night.” (Nahum 1-7)
